Rajasthan BJP Launches Daily Public Hearings as Deputy CM Premchand Bairwa Chairs Opening Session
Rajasthan’s BJP headquarters in Jaipur has begun daily public hearings to enhance transparency and citizen engagement, with Deputy CM Premchand Bairwa presiding over the first session. Meanwhile, police launched a probe into a truck-related accident after ASP Shwetabh Pandey visited the injured at a medical college.
Party officials said the initiative aims to create a structured platform where people can present their grievances directly before senior leaders and designated authorities, ensuring faster escalation and follow-up. According to BJP representatives, the public-hearing mechanism is meant to strengthen accountability within the state’s administrative framework and help bridge communication gaps between citizens and decision-makers.
In a separate incident reported to officials around the same time, Additional Superintendent of Police Shwetabh Pandey rushed to a local medical college after receiving information about an accident involving multiple injured individuals. Pandey met the victims to assess their condition, while police registered a case and launched an investigation. A search is currently underway to locate the driver of the truck allegedly involved in the collision.
The simultaneous unfolding of civic outreach and law-enforcement action underscores the state’s dual focus on public service and prompt response to emergencies. As daily hearings continue at the BJP headquarters, party leaders say they expect the initiative to become a consistent conduit for citizen participation and a tool to reinforce trust in government processes.
